Build an Exercise Program That Works for You
Adam Roberts Exercise Physiologist, CTTS

There isn't a one-size-fits-all exercise program. Your exercise program depends on a variety of factors. It can depend on your goals, how much time you have, and what equipment you have access to. It is important to think about these factors to build a routine that works for you and gets you the results you want. Here are three tips to help you put a nice program together.

What results are you looking for? This will determine if you need to add more weight training, yoga, Pilates, cardio, etc.

Consider your schedule. Time and frequency are important. Hitting your muscle groups with enough repetitions multiple times per week can maximize your results.

Are you working out at the gym or at home? Knowing what kind of equipment you have access to will help you choose the exercises that will help you the most.
