Achieving Goals: Use Virgin Pulse to Help!

Are you interested in becoming healthier, but you do not know where to begin? At Ohio State, many Wellness resources are available to help you reach your goals and improve your health and well-being.

With YP4H powered by Virgin Pulse, the program can be customized for you to help you reach your goals. You can earn YP4H points for things you are already doing, such as tracking steps, sleep, and healthy habits. Virgin Pulse has daily cards with simple tips that are able to be read very quickly to fit into your busy life. Healthy Habits are also able to be tracked in Virgin Pulse and there are many habits available so you can work on goals important to you. Categories of habits are ‘getting active’, ‘being productive’, ‘building relationships’ and ‘managing my finances’ and more! There are over 100 unique healthy habits available in Virgin Pulse to keep you on the road to living a healthier life.

I challenge you today to log in to your Virgin Pulse profile and select Healthy Habits that are meaningful to you and applicable to your goals. If you’d like to invite some friends to join in, create a challenge with your colleagues to increase your accountability.

To get to the options of healthy habits, after logging in to Virgin Pulse, click ‘Tracking’ and then ‘Healthy Habits.’ Click ‘browse all’ to see the categories and options and add some new ones to your dashboard. You can earn up to 45 points per day for tracking healthy habits in a matter of seconds.
