OSU Health Plan

You have probably received notices from your primary care providers and other physicians informing you that they are now seeing patients by appointment using video or telephone. Members have had a lot of questions related to the Health Plan's acceptance of telehealth. We have updated our policy for the COVID-19 public health emergency and provided you with a set of FAQs. We will update these pages regularly as policies related to Telehealth may evolve during this health emergency. For questions, please call the OSU Health Plan at 614-292-4700. OSUWMC TELEHEATH IMMEDIATE CARE

Ohio State has launched a new Telehealth Immediate Care service. Telehealth Immediate Care offers new and existing Ohio State patients 14 and older same-day care via video or telephone. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am -10pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am -6pm. It is staffed with RNs, APPs, and physicians. Simply call 614-293-3200 or log in to MyChart, select immediate care and your preferred appointment time. You do not need a MyChart account to be seen by a Telehealth Immediate Care provider, just call the phone number and you will be scheduled and seen within 24 hours.

COPC TELEHEALTH CARE

Central Ohio Primary Care (COPC) has also launched a new Telehealth service. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am -10pm; Saturday and Sunday 8am -5pm. The COPC Telehealth service is same-day care, and a member doesn’t need to be an existing patient. Click here for the procedures to follow to access telehealth with Central Ohio Primary Care (COPC). CONVENIENT CARE/AFTERHOURS/WALK-IN UPDATES

Please make note of the transition to telehealth appointments for the following:

OSU Wexner Medical Center Walk-In Clinics

  • The Walk-In Clinics are temporarily closed. Call Telehealth Immediate Care at 614-293-3200 to receive care by phone or video. 

AfterHours Clinics

  • AfterHours Care Gahanna is temporarily closed. Call Telehealth Immediate Care at 614-293-3200 to receive care by phone or video. 
  • Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care is open; members should call 614-293-3200 for a telehealth appointment prior to visiting Martha Morehouse.

University Health Services

  • University Health Services (UHS) is open; members should call 614-293-8146 for a telehealth appointment prior to going in to UHS.
