It is estimated about 96 million Americans are diagnosed with prediabetes. Prediabetes is a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough yet to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes. Those living with prediabetes usually don’t have any symptoms. A diagnosis can be scary, but doesn’t always mean you’ll develop type 2 diabetes.
