In honor of National Dog Bite Prevention Week, we will cover the basics parents should know to help bring home baby to a household dog including preparation and initial interactions. We discuss how to manage interactions between dogs and children during the highest period: the first five years of a child’s life, especially considering that most incidents occur with dogs familiar to the children.
