The Artful Caregiver: Work
Increasing numbers of healthcare professionals are faced with the dual role of providing care-giving at work only to return home to resume care-giving for a family member or loved one. Effective care-giving can be measured through positive outcomes for the recipient. The Care-givers effectiveness requires learning how to balance their own needs with those they provide care for. Participants of the program will learn strategies to improve patient and client care outcomes. Numerous resources will be highlighted to educate care-givers about services, programs and products they can implement to effectively balance the needs of the client with their own needs.
